Blu-ray & DVD: The Digital Dread Report for 8/8

In a world where streaming movies in HD is growing in popularity, it gets harder and harder to justify spending hard earned money on physical media. The fact is though that when done right, nothing makes a movie look or sound better on Blu-ray, so we bring you The Digital dread Report to help you figure out what's worth buying, and what you're better off streaming.

Even though Arrow owns the week with their Re-Animator disc, Scream Factory is making a strong showing with 4 of the week's releases.

  • The new Limited Edition 4K remastering of the 80's classic, Re-Animator, is about as Must Own as it gets if you don't already own this gem of a flick on Blu-ray
  • Teen Wolf and Teen Wolf Too are fun 80's comedies that make us wax nostalgic. They're basically comedies with very little Horror, so be warned.
  • For those who don't already own Fargo on Blu, this new Steelbook Edition from Scream Factory is the ticket.
  • If you're in the mood for some 70's exploitation, The Night of the Sorcerers/Loreley's Grasp double feature might do the trick.
  • And everything else, as always, is a crap-shoot. *aka, take your chances, could go either way.

Be sure to click the pics below to buy the movies, or even rent them. Or both. Or neither. It really depends on your mood, now doesn't it?
